Digital health is the intersection between technology and healthcare and it looks at how technology can be used to improve the quality of treatment given to a patient. In recent times, conversations around the concept of digital health have continued to emerge and it is not difficult to deduce why this is the case. If developing countries like Nigeria are to revolutionize healthcare and achieve the third Sustainable Development Goal, centered on healthy living, there must be a paradigm fusion of the orthodox healthcare system and digital systems which would actualize needed change in the health sector and practice.
